The Free House Pub

At The Free House, we pride ourselves on being a unique haven for craft beer enthusiasts. Not tied to any specific brewery, we serve as a gateway to the diverse and vibrant craft beer scene across the country. Our journey began with the Nelson Beer Fêtes, where we celebrated the art of brewing and sought to quench the community’s thirst for quality beer. When the opportunity arose to transform an old Reformed church into a pub, we seized it, and in April 2009, The Free House was born. Today, we invite you to explore our ever-changing selection of local brews, enjoy our welcoming atmosphere, and join us in celebrating the passion and creativity of craft brewing.
