It is important that a case history is recorded, this is discussed with the patient regarding current symptoms and any previous medical history. Then your posture is assessed , and by using palpation your osteopath will determine points of weakness, strain, pain / discomfort or limited mobility. From here a diagnosis will be made and a suitable treatment will be planned. This may involve massage, joint articulation, cranial or visceral osteopathy, and techniques to balance fascia and the soft tissues of the body.
